Coco Bedding is produced by recycling coconut husks. Our product is a mix of the fibers and a soft and spongy dust like particle, called as coco peat. The coconut fibers act as insulators and provide more comfort to your horse.  Here are the benefits of Coco Bedding:
 
  • Coco Bedding can hold 5 times its weight in urine. A superb absorbent!
  • Unique woody tissue structure will trap the strong ammonia odor in the urine.
  • No flies  - even when the bedding is fully soaked in urine. 
  • ​Unlike shavings, there is no runoff or leaching problems. 
  • ​Can be used with or without rubber mats in the stall.
  • No trees are cut to make this bedding. Most eco-friendly product in the market!
  • Soiled bedding decomposes quicker than shavings and can be used as a soil supplement.

Packaging

Coco Bedding EQ is packed in slightly compressed bales, packed on pallets.  Each bale is approximately 55 Lbs and one pallet has 32 bales. One pallet should be good enough to cover 8 stalls (10' x 10' or 12' x 12'). All you need is a wheelbarrow and a rake to handle the bedding.
